I have tried more times than I care to say to change the default font in Word I'f followed the instructions and it still reverts back to the font Microsoft thought was best, which I hate. I tried two options: change default font from the Font ribbon and change the default font through modifying the Normal template. I checked "Apply to new documents" box every time. It has worked only on the current document so far and within the same session of Word. The Calibri font is loaded for every time I open a new session of Word.
Do you wish to change the default font for one particular document instead of all future ones? Make sure you select the This document only in the pop-up window from Step 7. So, you followed the described instructions to a T. It just reverted back to the original font. Why did this happen?
